New Open Access Toolkit for Digital Change

The success of digital and technology change projects, such as those related to materials innovation, often depends on the readiness of organisations (and their employees) to adopt these new tools.

Technological change often involves wider organisational changes such as new processes, roles and skills, as well as changes in culture. However, organisations often lack the tools to help them prepare the organisation and their workforce for these changes when adopting new technologies.

Therefore, as part of the work of the Materials Made Smarter Centre, which brings together a community of researchers across the materials manufacturing value chain, researchers at Sheffield University Management School have developed a toolkit that focuses particularly on the people and organisational aspects of change.

This is a free web resource that provides guidelines, tips and tools to help organisations navigate their digital/technology change journey. For further information click here.
