A rare opportunity to tour world-leading engineering research facilities at the University of Sheffield’s Innovation District to coincide with the ‘50 Years of Steel Alloy Design‘.

The Royce Translational Centre (RTC), the Structural Dynamics Laboratory for Verification and Validation (LVV), and the Integrated Civil and Infrastructure Research Centre (ICAIR) are three new purpose-built engineering research facilities at the University of Sheffield.

Each aims to support industrial growth by offering access to cutting-edge research facilities.

The research centers will be open for tours on Wednesday 6th November, followed by a drinks reception at the Royce Translational Centre.

Who should attend?

This event is aimed at Research and Development engineers in industry, particularly SMEs who might be interested in finding out more about what the RTC, LVV, and ICAIR can offer them.

Free transport will be available to and from Sheffield city centre.

The centres are part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), and the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC).
