Events at the Henry Royce Institute

The Big Bang Fair is back! The UK’s biggest celebration of STEM for young people is returning on Wednesday 21 to Friday 23 June 2023 at The NEC in Birmingham.

REiN aims to act as a positive disruptor to the UK nuclear sector – stimulating greater connectivity and learning between existing networks for race and ethnicity, and shifting industry perceptions to improve the inclusivity and attractiveness of the sector.The aim of the launch event is to consult the nuclear industry on REiN and the path it aspires to take, and to host a roundtable discussion as how as a sector we can best improve the inclusion and representation of ethnic communities in nuclear.

This event marks the launch of the Royce@Cambridge Physical Deposition and Characterisation Facility – part of one of the UK-wide Henry Royce Institute open-access technology platforms. This facility includes equipment for device fabrication and characterisation which will be demonstrated during the event.
