With a unique blend of knowledge across advanced materials, computer science, finances and financial systems, Dr Thanasis Georgiou is the Business Development Manager for the 2D Materials theme at Royce.
Thanasis is an experienced business-oriented technologist with a record in identifying key performance indicators across industry verticals, with particular skills in designing and executing research to delivery successful business outcomes.
Having launched his own start-ups, Thanasis has a proven ability to form industry-industry and industry-academia collaborations. Through this, he has designed and managed collaborations for maximum impact with the relevant stakeholders, often through grant funding.
His long history in innovation and entrepreneurship means Thanasis is ideally skilled to obtain the best outcomes for industry working with academia.
