Dr Sarah-Jane Clelland
Research and Facilities Manager
Sarah-Jane joined the Royce team in August 2018, moving from the School of Materials at the University of Manchester. Originally trained as an archaeological scientist, she can act as scientific interface for a range of stakeholders and funders. Her background includes the delivery of large research projects, and the co-ordination of engagement activities.
Sarah-Jane’s role involves managing the operation and research activities at the University of Manchester for a group of related core area research themes within the Royce: Material Systems for Demanding Environments, Nuclear Materials and Advanced Metals Processing.
