Royce coordinates over 700 academic, technical, and research staff across the UK, providing a joined-up framework that can deliver beyond the current capabilities of individual Partners or research teams.
The strategic and operational delivery of Royce is overseen by a Governing Board (GB) and Strategic Advisory Board (SAB).

Governing Board
The Governing Board oversees the strategic and operational delivery of Royce's vision. Creating and drawing on the synergies and advantages of the Partners and wider materials community in working towards common goals.
Royce Committees
A number of committees have been established through Royce to make advances in research efforts and embrace diversity. These committees work collaboratively across the Royce partnership to address issues and provide strategic direction for Royce's leadership.
Strategic Advisory Board
Our Strategic Advisory Board provides independent advice to both the Royce Governing Board and Leadership team on achieving delivery of the Royce vision, particularly in relation to the operation of Royce facilities and the quality of the institute’s scientific outputs.
