Dr Emily Wynne is a Research and Business Engagement Coordinator at the Henry Royce Institute. She is based at the University of Manchester.
Emily completed a PhD in Chemical and Process Engineering at the University of Leeds in 2025, with industry partners Syngenta and AstraZeneca, using advanced low-dose electron microscopy techniques to study the nanoscale crystalline structure in organic molecular systems.
Emily also has a master’s in chemistry from the University of Nottingham, giving her a vast knowledge of materials challenges across a range of sectors. During her PhD, Emily completed a placement at the Government Office for Science, equipping her with knowledge on science policy, technology translation, and R&D challenges across government.
