Funding Opportunities

Overview

The Henry Royce Institute continually strives to identify challenges and stimulate innovation in advanced materials research. Alongside its world-leading partner network, its diverse facilities catalogue and expert research leads, Royce offers periodic calls for fully, or partially, funded projects to academic and industrial communities.

Funding plays a major role in driving materials innovation; it can assist in the acquisition and operation of activities and equipment necessary for advancements in materials science. Companies can also benefit from additional funding that could help to validate new products in the market and ultimately drive commercialisation efforts.

Royce believes that funding can help to deliver positive economic and societal impact. Its funding calls exist to support the world-recognised excellence in UK materials R&D.
