The Royce is recruiting: new business development posts across the UK

14 March 2019
The Henry Royce Institute is recruiting for a number of business development roles around the UK, to help grow its operations, research activities and work with industry.

Currently advertised at both the Universities of Manchester and Sheffield, the Business Development Managers will work closely with academic staff at the Royce, leading the targeting and engagement of businesses that can benefit from the Institute’s support for materials research and innovation.

Each role is a critical part of the ongoing growth of the Royce, helping to exploit research for commercial and societal benefit in the UK, by enabling partnership with industry. The Royce is looking for those candidates that can take responsibility for and drive a new stream of activities, including establishing and coordinating national materials community networks, and identifying and delivering Royce facilities access models.

The Managers will also join the Royce with a remit to work with existing research-focused organisations in the UK, outside of the Royce partnership, and will engage with the strategic development of an industry and innovation programme for the UK national institute for advanced materials.

The posts currently recruiting are:

Business Development Manager (x4) – Royce @ Manchester
