Prof. Zara Hodgson is a Nuclear Materials Steering Group Member
Zara is the Director of the Dalton Nuclear Institute at the University of Manchester, where she is also a Professor of Nuclear Engineering. Previously, Zara led nuclear fuel policy for the Department for Energy Security & Net Zero, and progressed DESNZ’s Nuclear Fuel Fund and Medical Radionuclide Innovation Programme, as well as the UK HALEU Programme. She is an alumnus of the National Nuclear Laboratory, with over twenty years’ experience of nuclear R&D.
