Enterprise Manager

Dr Rebecca Myers is an Enterprise Manager at the Henry Royce Institute.  She is based at the Royce Hub Building within the University of Manchester.

Rebecca joined the Henry Royce Institute in 2025. As an Enterprise Manager, she is responsible for developing and delivering Royce’s entrepreneurship education programmes, to help build the national pipeline of materials-focused ventures, founders, and commercial opportunities. Her role connects researchers, industry, and investors to ensure early-stage technologies are de-risked and supported through Royce’s technology transfer strategy and downstream incubators and accelerators.

Rebecca has over 25 years’ experience at the University of Cambridge, spanning STEM research, programme design, and entrepreneurship education. At Cambridge Judge Business School, she founded and directed EnterpriseTECH amongst other programmes, training more than 1,000 researchers in commercialisation skills and catalysing over 60 ventures that have collectively raised muliple millions in pre-seed and seed funding.

With a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Cambridge and a BSc in Chemistry from Imperial College London, Rebecca began her career as a researcher in medicinal chemistry before transitioning into leadership roles in entrepreneurial education and ecosystem development. She brings extensive experience in stakeholder engagement, programme design, and translational impact, and is committed to building inclusive, sustainable entrepreneurial communities in advanced materials and beyond.
