Nick Warren is a Chemical Materials Design Steering Group member based at the University of Leeds.
Nick is an Associate Professor in Polymer Engineering at the University of Leeds. He obtained his PhD in Polymer Chemistry from the University of Sheffield in 2012 and has since focussed on the use of controlled polymerisation techniques to generate a range of polymer nanomaterials. His current research focusses on enhancing precision of polymer synthesis through the application of new ‘enabling’ technologies including flow chemistry, online monitoring and machine learning. The ultimate goal of his research is to accelerate innovation in polymer science to deliver a new generation of high performing polymers.
