Dr Ioanna Mylonaki previously served as a member of the Henry Royce Institute’s Strategic Advisory board.
Ioanna is a Partner at Untethered Ventures, investing in early stage healthcare and life sciences startups.
Previously, at Sixfold Bioscience, her work on RNA conjugates and corporate development, contributed to securing $10M in funding.
As a scientist, she has worked on small molecules, mRNA, and siRNA delivery for cardiovascular, pulmonary, and CNS diseases. In ten years of academic work, she has garnered over 450 citations for her published work and 3 patents, collaborating with 11 institutions, 53 co-authors from 5 countries.
She is an Honorary Research Fellow at Imperial College London, an expert advisor for the European Union and has held a board position at the Royce Institute of Materials. She was recognized as a Future Leader Fellow from the UK Research & Innovation in 2021.
She holds an MBA from the London Business School, a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Geneva and a PharmD degree from the Pharmacy Department of the Kapodistrian University of Athens.
