Dr Chris Hamlett is the Henry Royce Institute’s National Outreach Officer and coordinates our national approach towards raising awareness of the prevalence of materials science & engineering in day to day life. Through events, conferences and workshops, Chris works with schools to demonstrate that materials science and engineering is a viable and exciting career path.
Chris is based at the University of Birmingham, a partner organisation in the Royce led outreach programme Discover Materials.
