The UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) website includes a range of bold initiatives which are supporting our ability to understand, tackle and mitigate the effects of climate change, and embed evidence in climate policy.

The website contains a suite of rich resources and case studies of Partnership working that span a vast range of topics – from pioneering research into bio-based construction through to how agricultural waste materials are being turned into renewable heat and electricity.

It also sets out UKRI’s global contribution to sustainability, and the many URKI funded, ongoing initiatives that are solving some of the world’s greatest sustainability challenges, supporting UK researchers and businesses to work with the best minds, organisations and facilities around the world.

This work is at the forefront of a new, green industrial revolution, which sees UK research, innovation and partnership continuing to underpin the UK’s commitment to achieving a net zero economy by 2050 and supporting humankind’s ability to live more sustainably.

The website also hosts details of how UKRI is contributing towards the success of the UN Climate Change Conference (COP26) being held in Glasgow later this year.
