The Henry Royce Institute’s ‘Atoms to Devices’ research area is looking to network and get to know businesses that work in semiconductors, device manufacturing, photonics, optoelectronics, printed photovoltaics, nanolithography, thin film manufacturing or quantum dots, devices and computing.
With Royce’s ongoing dedication to accelerating innovation, bolstered by the promotion of the Greater Manchester Atom Valley innovation site, we are hosting a one-day, free event in partnership with The University of Manchester to meet businesses that work in these applications.
The purpose of this event is to promote the facilities, capabilities and support mechanisms available, and outline how to access them. The event will be an opportunity for academics to showcase their work with industry, create new leads and explain how they can collaborate with technical industry representatives to solve ongoing challenges. There will also be an opportunity for companies to demonstrate their products and services during a networking poster session. The aim of this event is to spark new collaborations between academia and industry, inviting companies post event to visit specific academics and facilities with the aim of sharing and solving their materials challenges.
Event location: Henry Royce Institute, Oxford Road, Manchester, M13 9PL
Lunch and refreshments are provided.
