Since 2017, the festival has been a warm, welcoming an inclusive space for visitors of all ages to enjoy a free, fun, and interactive experience. Every year, thousands from our local neighbourhoods and beyond come together to explore research, engage with arts and cultural institutions, and connect with staff, students, and community partners.

The Royce Outreach team will be on hand at the Royce Hub Building throughout the Universally Manchester Festival, so make sure you pay us a visit to see some of the incredible Materials Science we deliver in our labs across the country.

Children can dress up as scientists – lab coats, goggles, and all – then let their imaginations soar as they draw themselves as the scientists of the future.
