Prof. Ivan Petrov
Materials Research Laboratory, University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, USA
Ivan Petrov is a Professor of Physics at Linköping University (LiU), Sweden. He was a Professor of Materials Science (1998-2010), Director of the Center for Microanalysis of Materials at the University of Illinois. He has published 350 papers cited 24000 times, H-index of 78. He is a Fellow and Honorary Member of AVS, 2015 AVS President, and received the 2009 Bunshah and the 2013 Thornton Awards. He served as the Chair of the IUVSTA Surface Engineering Division 2007-2022.
