The next Royce National PhD Conference will take place at The University of Manchester on 7–8 April 2027.
Following the success of the last event, the two-day conference will bring together 1st and 2nd year PhD researchers from across the UK’s materials science community. It will create an opportunity to share research, develop new connections, and engage with a wider network of materials science researchers. The conference will focus on the exchange of research, skills development for future materials scientists, and connecting students with new peers and members of the Henry Royce Institute. The 2027 conference will also mark 11 years of the Henry Royce Institute and the beginning of its next five years of support for materials science and innovation across the UK.
