Overview
Rising Stars is returning to the Henry Royce Institute in February 2024. Developed and delivered by early career researchers to celebrate and support the rising stars within under-represented groups in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) fields.
The content includes sessions on developing career skills, alongside creative networking activities, and a panel session exploring career pathways.
This workshop is aimed at late-stage PhD students, PDRAs, and early career researchers in Materials Science.
Royce can support attendance at the event by offering reimbursement of travel expenses for those living outside of Greater Manchester. Participants with caring responsibilities can also apply for support.
The deadline for applications is 23:59 on 12th January 2024.
