Abstract
In this session, Dr Matthew Allinson, an associate editor at Nature Reviews Clean Technology, will talk about how to publish articles with journals in the Nature Portfolio, with a focus on engineering and sustainability research. The talk will cover journal scope, what each step of the process looks like from the editor’s perspective. We will cover Reviews journals in more detail, what makes for a good Review article and how to pitch one to a Nature portfolio journal.
Bio
Matt joined Nature Reviews Clean Technology in 2024. He completed his PhD in printable photovoltaics at Imperial College London in 2016, and has worked in academic publishing as an editorial coordinator for Royal Society Open Science and Proceedings B and in science communications at King’s College London and Aalto University in Finland. Matt is based in the New York office.
