About
The University of Liverpool is excited to host BioMedEng26, the UK’s largest annual gathering of biomedical engineers, on Thursday 3rd and Friday 4th September 2026.
BioMedEng is the UK’s principle community for biomedical engineering, bringing together researchers, clinicians, industry partners and students to advance innovation in healthcare technologies. Originating from a collaborative effort to unify the country’s growing biomedical engineering research base, the annual BioMedEng conference has become the largest gathering of its kind in the UK. Each year, it provides a national platform to share cutting-edge scientific developments, discuss translational challenges, showcase emerging technologies, and foster new partnerships. The conference continues to grow in scale and impact, reflecting the vital role of biomedical engineering in improving patient care and shaping the future of medicine.
