About
The annual RAPS (Recent Appointees in Polymer Science) meeting aims to bring together early-career academics (within approximately 5 years of appointment), PDRAs and industrialists. We aim for this meeting to offer opportunities to present your work, develop new networks, and provide practical early-career advice from a range of experienced speakers on subjects such as generating funding, becoming independent, interacting with the media and building a lab.
Overall, the meeting is a great opportunity for early-career researchers to start their network of collaborators.

The event will be held at the Manchester Institute for Biotechnology located at 131 Princess Street, Manchester M1 7DN, United Kingdom.
The registration desk will open at 12.30pm on 2 September 2026, with the welcome talk starting at 1pm. The conference will finish at 12.15pm on 4 September 2026.
