Detailed Description
Determines particle and molecular size, particle charge and particle concentration in dispersions up to high solids loading (some samples up to 40% w/v).
Uses/Applications
Food and Drink: analyze particle size and zeta potential to improve the appearance and taste of foods, drinks and flavorings, and optimize dispersion and emulsion stability to extend product shelf life and improve product performance.
Nanomaterials: nanoparticle size distribution, dispersion properties, stability and propensity to aggregate are crucial to the design of new nanomaterials.
Paints, Inks and coatings: properties, such as dispersibility, color, strength, finish, durability and shelf life.
Pharmaceuticals: characterize the stability and quality of dispersions, emulsions and creams to reduce formulation time.
Multi-Angle Dynamic Light Scattering (MADLS) for improved accuracy.
Dynamic Light Scattering that can determine particle size from 1nm up to 10μm.
Electrophoretic Light Scattering (ELS) for measuring the potential of molecules/particles.
Allows measurement even with low sample volumes of 3μL.
