Density Meter and Microviscometer

Anton Paar DMA 4500M with Lovis 2000 ME module in an MBraun Argon Glovebox

System allowing density measurements to 5 digit accuracy with viscosity correction.

Description

Our Anton Paar viscometer is situated within an argon fed glovebox, allowing inert measurements of electrolyte viscosity to be taken. The Lovis 2000 ME is a rolling-ball viscometer which measures the rolling time of a ball through transparent and opaque liquids based on Hoeppler’s falling ball principle. The instrument is mainly used for viscosity measurements of low viscous liquids. A measurement with Lovis 2000 ME can yield dynamic viscosity, intrinsic viscosity, and more.

Uses / Applications

Analysis of battery electrolytes.
Food science.
Colloid and emulsion studies.
