The HPT-200 is a microprocessor controlled benchtop plasma treatment system which is ideally suited to surface activation, cleaning and modification of a wide range of materials including polymers, metals, glass and ceramics.
Uses / Applications
Plasma cleaning / Nanomaterial analysis: The HPT-200 removes organic and inorganic contamination from surfaces. This will assist with the analysis of nanomaterials, specifically by surface modification of Si wafers. The hydrophilic surface produced is ideal for the application of nanomaterials suspended in water.
Surface activation studies: The system is used for improving adhesion properties (wettability and bond strength) of materials like polymers, glass and ceramics.
Materials science investigations: The HPT-200 supports research on surface modification of a wide variety of materials from metals to medical devices.
Microfluidics and PDMS research: The system is suitable for studies involving PDMS bonding and microfluidic device fabrication.
