Dr Ross Nolan is a Technology Platform Lead for Thermomechanical Processing
Ross is currently an Experimental Officer based in the Henry Royce Institute at the University of Manchester (UoM).
He graduated with a master’s degree in chemistry from UoM before going to join the Advanced Metallic Systems Centre for Doctoral Training to complete his PhD in metallurgy at UoM in 2015. He then worked in industry as a Failure Metallurgist for Exova until 2018.
After a career break to travel the world, he returned to UoM in 2019 as an Experimental Officer and additionally in 2022 the Technology Platform Lead for Thermomechanical Processing.
