Dr Yunus Azakli joined Royce at the University of Sheffield in January 2019. He has worked on alloy preparation and development since 2012 and has a PhD degree in Materials Science & Engineering from Gebze Technical University. Yunus works within Royce’s Advanced Metals Processing Research Area via melting, casting and thermomechanical treatments. In 2024, Yunus became the Technology Platform Lead for Royce’s Materials Discovery and Prototyping facility.
