Introduction to Commercialisation Workshops
Royce hosts short workshop at our Partner sites to offer a chance for PhD students to gain knowledge on the overall process of commercialisation of new materials. Bringing together expertise from a variety of areas the content provides an overview of spin out companies, the basics of intellectual property, how to seek investment and venture capital. The content also helps participants find additional support either through their university’s technology transfer offices, Royce or other organisations.
We are keen to keep in touch with students who attend these workshops over time as they begin their entrepreneurial journey. Our hope is that we can build a community of material innovators linked into Royce who are well placed to use our facilities as they progress along the commercialisation pathway.
To express your interest in attending these workshops keep on eye on the events listings below or email: training@royce.ac.uk
