Dr Thanasis Georgiou is a Research and Business Development Manager for the Henry Royce Institute at the Unviersity of Manchester. Thanasis oversees Research and Business Engagement activity for Royce’s 2D Materials Research Area
Thanasis is an experienced business-oriented technologist with a record in identifying key performance indicators across industry verticals, with particular skills in designing and executing research to delivery successful business outcomes.
Having launched his own start-ups, Thanasis has a proven ability to form industry-industry and industry-academia collaborations. Through this, he has designed and managed collaborations for maximum impact with the relevant stakeholders, often through grant funding.
