Helen Ryder is a Facilities Manager for Royce at the University of Manchester.
Helen joined the School of Materials in January 2016 as Project Manager for the Multidisciplinary Characterisation Facility (MCF). Helen has a Masters in Chemical Engineering (UMIST) and her PhD was on the imaging and characterisation of colloidal systems (The University of Manchester). Helen is the secretary for the Formulation Science and Technology Group, an interest group of the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) (2011-present), and a member of the RSC’s Member Network Committee (2017-present).
Helen is the point of contact for MCF enquiries and ensures excellence in delivery of projects by working alongside the various technical teams to offer industrial and academic clients access to The University of Manchester’s state-of-the-art material characterisation equipment.
