We're committed to enlightening and inspiring the public about Materials Science and why it matters
Through our Outreach and Public Engagement programmes we demonstrate the importance of materials in our society, and how research will enable a greener and cleaner world for communities around the world.
Along with our Partners we attend and support events around the country to involve the public in the work that Royce undertakes and supports as the UK’s national institute for advanced materials research. Events include university public open days, museum events, science festivals, and local community events.

Our materials challenges are vast yet exciting, from developing the infrastructure for net-zero to discovering new materials that will help us to live healthier lives. Through Outreach at Royce, we are capturing the public's imagination with the incredible science delivered by the Institute to raise awareness across our society.
