Join Discover Materials at the Cotteridge Community Music Arts and Dance Festival where they will present alongside several other awesome science stands.

Activities and demonstrations will include:

• How to efficiently sort your recycling so that you can help the planet
• Smashing different types of chocolates to compare their properties – just like a real materials scientist!
• The CoCoBioMater Bag Project, funded by the Royal Society of Chemistry, in which you can collect the equipment needed to make your own bioplastics at home! You can then bring them back to the park over the summer holidays so we can test their strength
