29 April 2021

The National Nuclear User Facility (NNUF) invites user access applications for the period July – September 2021 with “remote” access options available during COVID restrictions.

The fourth quarterly “call for access” for NNUF facilities is now open. This is an opportunity for any UK-based university researcher, and their international collaborators, to apply to use NNUF facilities for free. The closing date is 31st May 2021, and the call covers access taking place primarily during July – September 2021.

How to make an application

Visit the NNUF website and get in touch with the relevant facility contact to make an application. Given the current national COVID restrictions, many of the facilities accepting applications for this call are able to facilitate “remote” access, with facility scientists conducting experiments on behalf of externals.

Further Enquiries

Please contact Francesca McGowan, NNUF Administrator (francesca.mcgowan@materials.ox.ac.uk), with any queries regarding the access scheme. For further information about individual NNUF facilities, please contact the facility directly using the contact details provided on the facility pages of the NNUF website.
