Description
QToF is a high-resolution mass spectrometer with the ability to measure accurate mass to charge ratios (m/z) with four decimal places providing unparalleled substance identification. The ability to perform MS/MS analysis in which the quadrupole selects a specific precursor ion which is then fragmented in a collision cell and the fragments detected in the ToF allow structural identification to be performed. The QToF is connected to a quaternary liquid chromatography system enabling both isocratic and gradient elution or a Waters UPC2 SFC system for the separation of complex mixtures prior to mass spectrometry.
