The Henry Royce Institute (Royce) is seeking exceptional candidates to fulfil two Non-Executive Director positions within its Governing Board (GB).
Royce is recruiting for these positions at an important stage in the Institute’s development. As Royce enters the next phase of its evolution and continues to implement the UK’s National Materials Innovation Strategy, GB members will play a key role in shaping the Institute’s strategic direction and ensuring it delivers significant impact for UK research, industry and society.
For the right candidate, in addition to becoming a Governing Board Member, there is the possibility to take on the role of Royce Hydrogen Accelerator Chair.
Working closely with the CEO and Executive Team, Board members provide strategic oversight, guidance and constructive challenge to support the effective governance and long-term development of the Institute. They also act as ambassadors for Royce, helping to build strong relationships across government, industry, academia and the wider innovation community, while supporting efforts to enhance the Institute’s national and international profile.
The successful candidates will be highly regarded leaders with senior experience and the credibility to engage and influence at the highest levels across research, industry, government or investment communities. They will bring strategic insight, excellent stakeholder management skills and a strong interest in Royce’s mission to advance materials research and innovation for the benefit of the UK and wider society.
