Bea Howarth is a Research and Business Engagement Coordinator at the Henry Royce Institute. She is based in the Royce Hub Building at the University of Manchester.
Bea’s previous experience focused on progressing sustainable manufacturing strategy and capability development from research into UK businesses. This covered a range of sectors, including enabling sustainable supply chains for electric vehicles and major materials challenges within construction and infrastructure. This followed from studying a masters in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Liverpool, giving Bea experience in a broad range of sectors and technology transfer.
