CEAMS, the centre of Expertise in Advanced Materials and Sustainability, provides innovation support to drive the adoption of sustainable materials. The partnership connects industry with pioneering research and innovation assets to propel materials advancements crucial for a greener future.
CEAMS is regional programme and is a collaboration between Royce and other key national partners to help and support businesses in the Greater Manchester region to:
- Commercialise a sustainable material (s) or
- Develop an innovative idea to make the materials or process they use sustainable
CEAMS acts as a bridge between academic research expertise, commercial exploitation, and scale-up, offering businesses a funding pathway to develop new processes and products, adopt sustainable materials, and re-use waste materials.
Why attend this workshop?
Workshop attendees will learn more about the capabilities on offer through CEAMS, specifically in sustainable materials for areas like consumer products, packaging and fast-moving consumer goods development testing. Attendees will also have frequent opportunities to speak to academics and experts in the field.
As part of the event, we are also offering a Sustainability Triage, providing businesses with the platform to talk with experts about the materials used within your businesses and any sustainability challenges you’re facing. As part of this, you’ll get a 1:1 discussion with a CEAMS expert to cover any materials testing, characterisation and development that takes place within your operations.
There will also be an opportunity to bring along a material to submit for testing. Please get in touch to discuss.
Who should attend?
As the workshop will include technical and operational discussions, we recommend attendees are those working in a leadership, management or technical role within the business.
