Description

The FT4 allows for the detailed characterisation of powder properties across a wide range of potential applications. Able to measure the bulk, dynamic flow, and shear properties as well as being able to simulate processing conditions. The use of the FT4 spans across many applications from battery powder development, to ceramics, and food applications.

Uses / Applications

Maximum vessel size of 35ml. Able to measure:

  • Bulk Properties – Density, Compressibility, Permeability
  • Flow Properties – Flowability, Aeration, Consolidation, Flow Rate, Specific Energy
  • Shear Properties – Shear Cell, Wall Friction
  • Process Properties – Segregation, Attrition, Caking, Electrostatic, Moisture, Agglomeration
