Sepideh completed her PhD in corrosion and protection (material science) from the University of Manchester, following Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellowship at STFC-Daresbury. After 15 years working in industry she decided to complete her academic training. This non-conventional career path has provided her with a broad vision of research and development in both industrial and academic settings. She had the chance to develop a diverse range of skill set that will help to correctly implement the proposed research programme in corrosion at harsh environment for oil and gas industry.
