Zixin has an MRes in Nanostructured Materials and a PhD in Materials Science from the University of Manchester. Her research covers the manufacture and enhancement of electro-thermo-mechanical properties of graphene-enhanced nanocomposites, and inkjet-printing and 3D imaging (XCT) of conductive inks and sensor structures on textiles. As a PDRA, she developed sustainable printed wearable electrochemical biosensors for health monitoring in projects with industry and academia. She worked at IDTechEx as a technology analyst, acquiring industrial and commercial insights into advanced technologies. Her multidisciplinary expertise includes: printed/flexible electronics, additive manufacturing, materials characterization, technical textiles, and nanocomposites. At Royce, she will focus on XCT imaging and data analysis, delivering technical solutions in materials science to address global challenges.
