Surface Technology Innovations for Net Zero by 2050
12 October 2022 - 13 October 2022
All Day
Surface engineering and manufacturing sector leaders from Government, industry and academia within the UK will come together to address the importance and contribution of the sector in achieving net-zero by 2050. Conference | 12th-13th October 2022
World Energy Storage Conference
12 October 2022 - 14 October 2022
All Day
Energy storage is a key enabler for the decarbonisation of our energy systems to achieve a Net-Zero future. This joint event aims to provide an inclusive platform for all energy storage researchers and practitioners across academia, industry, government agencies and non-government organisations, to share their work through oral and poster presentation sessions, and to build collaborations through networking.
Workshop: Measuring the Behaviour of Brake Materials More Efficiently (with TriboLab demo)
13 October 2022
10:00 am
This new technique utilizes small samples of friction materials and tests them under real brake operating conditions. Using the UMT TriboLab HD, it is now possible to test such materials in real-time and easily program industry-standard dynamometer protocols and standards, all while monitoring key parameters such as friction, temperature, sliding speed, and vibration.  In this webinar, we will describe the technique and demonstrate how well it correlates with tests performed on the full-scale dynamometer following the SAE J2522 standard (known as AK Master).
Royce Training: 3D Bioprinting for Healthcare Applications
17 October 2022 - 18 October 2022
All Day
This course will explore the use of 3D bioprinting techniques in the development and manufacture of applications for clinical and healthcare use.
