Dr Mi Zhou currently works as the Business Development Manager for the Biomedical Materials Research Area. Mi was trained in biomedical materials and did years of research in soft materials and nanocomposites for 3D cell culture, tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. After spending a year in the industry for product innovation, Mi moved to a role supporting innovations from start-ups and SMEs via academic-industrial partnerships, particularly in the fields of advanced materials, medical devices, and regenerative medicine
