Dr Lyudmila Turyanska is an Associate Professor in the Centre for Additive Manufacturing at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Nottingham. Her research is focused on development of novel low dimensional materials and hybrid low dimensional composites for applications ranging from optoelectronic devices to healthcare technologies. She is leading research activity on integration of novel functional materials with additive manufacturing technologies for device applications. She has co-authored over 70 papers in this area.

Lyudmila has a multidisciplinary background with MSc in Chemistry and PhD in Physics. She held a prestigious Anne McLaren Fellowship in the School of Physics at Nottingham, where she started her academic career. Then she was appointed as a senior lecturer in the School of Chemistry at the University of Lincoln, before returning to Nottingham.
