The Business Development Manager for the Nuclear theme at Royce, Dr Andrew Bowfield spent five years conducting academic research in the physical sciences upon earning his PhD. Taking the leap into industry as a validation engineer for a scientific instrument technology company, he conducted contract negotiations to define metrological performance specifications of scientific instruments.
Daily engagement with scientists and engineers from leading national laboratories was something Andrew particularly enjoyed and continued into his next role as technical sales manager.
Working with clients to understand their needs gave Andrew a broad skill set that allows him to completely understand the capabilities of Royce and how to best apply to apply them to industrial problems, providing mutually beneficial solutions.
